Rosie-Guardian Home Dog
Timber Rock Doodles has a Guardian Home Program. This program allows our breeding dogs to enjoy their forever home family but live close to us!
Our female guardian dogs visit our home up to three to four times after they are approximately 18 months of age and have completed their health and genetic testing. They return to us briefly for breeding, then for 4-5 weeks to whelp their litter of puppies and will return to their guardian home family once puppies are fully weaned. Our male guardian dogs, once approximately 10 months of age, also go through health and genetic testing, returning to visit us occasionally to breed or “honeymoon” with our females.
We require the following of our Guardian Families….

It takes commitment, extra attention and love to provide a pregnant dog a safe and healthy environment while she is carrying a litter. We appreciate our Guardian Families for enriching our breeding program with the special care of our program sires and dams. We appreciate our Guardian Families commitment to our program.
Approved Guardian Homes would be provided our Pick of the Litter puppy that we decide will be an addition to our breeding program. We would waive the purchase price of this puppy in exchange for your service as a Guardian Home. These puppies are the foundation of our breeding program and require commitment and love. When the appropriate time arrives the puppy will have health and genetic testing to confirm a place in our active breeding program. Once their service to our program has been completed, we provide a spay/neuter and then we transfer full ownership to you the Forever Home.
If you are interested in becoming a Guardian Home for one our dogs, please contact us. We can discuss the details and expectations in making this relationship a success!
