Our Guardian Home Program
Timber Rock Doodles has a Guardian Home Program.
This program allows our breeding dogs to enjoy their forever home family from an early age and visit us for breeding activities!
Our female guardian dogs visit our home up to four times after they are approximately 14 months of age and have completed their health and genetic testing. They return to us briefly for breeding visits, then to whelp & raise their litter of puppies and will return to their guardian home family. Our male guardian dogs, once approximately one year of age, also go through health and genetic testing, returning to visit us occasionally to breed or “honeymoon” with our females when needed.
We recently moved Timber Rock Doodles to our lake home, we previously lived in the Twin Cities. Our litters are whelped and raised at our lake home in Northern Minnesota. Our Guardian Home Program is open to those living in our area near Bigfork, Bemidji, Grand Rapids Minnesota or in the Twin Cities Metro Area. We will provide more information and details to our applicants.

It takes commitment, extra attention and love to provide a pregnant dog a safe and healthy environment while she is carrying a litter. We appreciate our Guardian Families for enriching our breeding program with the special care of our program sires and dams. We appreciate our Guardian Families commitment to our program.
Approved Guardian Homes would be provided our Pick of the Litter puppy that we decide will be an addition to our breeding program. We would waive the purchase price of this puppy in exchange for your service as a Guardian Home. These puppies are the foundation of our breeding program and require commitment and love. When the appropriate time arrives, the puppy will have health and genetic testing to confirm a place in our active breeding program. Once their service to our program has been completed, a spay/neuter is required and then we transfer full ownership to you the Forever Home.
Please understand all dogs in our breeding program whether they live with us or in a Guardian Home are a direct reflection of our program. Taking the best care of each dog’s health, appearance (grooming) and behavior (training) is an essential component to our ongoing program. Our Guardian Homes are chosen on a case by case basis.
